Clinton Prairie won a thriller on the road against Tri-Central. The Lady Gophers overcame a 5 point deficit going into the 4th quarter to win 41-40. The Gophers got a boost behind the sharp shooting of Ivve Weflen. Weflen hit the go ahead 3 point shot with under 2 minutes left and the Lady Gophers never trailed again. Leading Clinton Prairie in scoring was Madison Douglass with 14 points, Ivve Weflen 9 points and Abby Clark/Kayla Pearson with 8 points. Mattyson Robison played a tremendous game defensively, leading the team in steals and deflections. The win puts the Lady Gophers in first place of the Hoosier Heartland Conference at 3-0 and 7-1 overall.
