Game Recap

The Clinton Prairie Boys Basketball team traveled north to take on the Eagles of Faith Christian. It was a great atmosphere for a Saturday night in Indiana. The Eagles home crowd and the traveling Gopher Gang made for a rowdy crowd.
The Gophers played stingy defense in the first half, allowing only 20 points, but did not shoot well itself, finding themselves down 20-15 at the half. The third quarter was well matched as both teams hit their strides offensively but the Eagles lead remained at the end of 3, 37-33. The Gophers were lead down the stretch by Kale Morris, as the Gophers fought hard to get road win in a very tough environment. Tough defense, along with some big shots on offense lead to a 56-48 win on the road.
The Gophers were lead Kale Morris, scoring 21 points, grabbing seven rebounds and blocking four shots. Jared Stillwell added 14 points and six rebounds, making 6/6 from the free throw line down the stretch. Merrick McGraw added eight points, seven rebounds and four assists.
