Multiple Teams · Wrestlers show support for coaches in law enforcement

The school colors at Clinton Prairie High School are red and black, but the Gopher wrestling team has added blue to the mix this season.

In an unusual circumstance for a high school coaching staff, four of the five Clinton Prairie wrestling coaches have a career in law enforcement. When they are not instructing wrestlers on the mat, head coach Joey Mitchell and assistant coaches Dennis Tillman, Ryan McCauley and Cory Cronk are known as Sergeant Mitchell, Deputy Tillman, Conservation Officer McCauley and Officer Cronk. The only coach who does not have a primary career in law enforcement is assistant Matt Melson.
