Game Recap

The Lady Gophers once again showed what they are made of when the defeated Sheridan in the semi-final round of the HHC tourney, 11-1 in 6 innings. Prairies offense shined as Freshman Cam Cornell lead all batters going 3 for 3. Holly Loveless got her first Varsity home run driving in 2 CP runners. Katelyn Ramsey also hit a home run driving in 2 runs also. Peyton Ray went 2 of 3 and a double, Layne Snyder also went 2 for 3. Holly Loveless pitched 5 innings and Katelyn Boller relieved her in the 6th. Together they allowed 2 hits, 1 earned run, and 7 strikeouts. Prairie advanced to the championship round for the first time in several years. The will face a tough Frontier team.
