Game Recap

The Lady Gophers ran out of gas as they faced top ten state ranked Frontier Falcons for the second time this year losing 12-2 in 6 innings. Holly Loveless pitched 1 inning, being relieved by Katelyn Boller who pitched 3 innings and was relieved by Kinze Funk finishing out the 6th. Kylie Burris continued to work her bat leading all batters going 2 for 2 and an RBI. She was followed by Layne Snyder, Erin Woods (RBI), and Peyton Ray all going 1 for 2. Prairie played all their subs. Carla Brewer got her first Varsity hit in the loss. A tough loss that saw 3 CP players hurting. The bright spot was that CP finished 2nd in the HHC conference out of 10 teams, the highest they finished in the last few years.
