Athletics at the Collegiate Level

If you are interested in competing in a sport past high school it is your responsibility to make sure you are eligible to compete when you graduate from high school.  The athletic and guidance departments at CP are here to assist you, but you have to take the initiative in the process of becoming eligible.  Below is a checklist of things you will need to do to make sure you are eligible.  If you have any questions please ask.  Good Luck!!!!
Checklist for College-Bound Student-Athletes
1.  Register at the beginning of your sophomore year (if after sophomore year, register as soon as you know you may want to play at the college level).
2.  Request a transcript be sent to the Eligibility Center at the end of you Junior Year
3.  Take the ACT/SAT and make sure to send your scores to the Eligibility Center
4.  Check with your High School Counselor if you are unsure of the graduation requirements and necessary core courses necessary.
5.  Request final amateurism certification during your senior year (beginning April 1st).
6.  Request a final transcript with proof of graduation be sent to the Eligibility Center.
