This game was very back in forth the entire way. You can tell that it is early in the year for both teams because a lot of small mistakes were made, but we found a way to get a win in a pretty ugly game. I am proud of the team for fighting through. There were many things that we need to do a better job at on the offensive and defensive end, but to be able to find a way to get it done really speaks volumes for the type of kids we have. Rebekah Lloyd had a great game. She finished with a game high 17 points and 7 rebounds. Emma McKinney and Hannah Wilson also played very good defense throughout the game. Those two are two that will typically score for us, but they realized their role last night was to apply pressure on defense and force stops. We still have a lot of areas that we need to improve on especially for our game on Saturday, but I am proud of the girls and the team for remaining a team and coming out with a victory.

Our JV also won 45-15. They were led by Tatum Nash with 12 and Rylee Ward with 10.
